I think having a subscription service that gives users access to high resolution images of things like the zine or the things you have on your Instagram would be a good way to monetize your work so you can keep producing it. Subscribers could download and spread it (tuck copies into library books, leave them in public bathrooms, etc.). The more comprehensible to people who aren't already living in our world, the better.
the pornographic industries are masterful at getting people to want and pay for what they don't need. I'd love to find a way to get people to want what they need. That would be the holy grail. People would seek it out and pay for it.
I’m thinking I’m thinking .. I must know somebody who knows marketing AND graphic artwork .. You’re going to have people eventually, who will have specific suggestions .. I’m a writer .. your work may be a narrower cross section of the conventional art world, but .. not so narrow .. aside from everything else, just keep upping your resolve to protect your work! It’s worth it!
