Hello Dear Reader. I am sorry I neglected my substack for a while, I have been struggling with my usual issues, which I won’t bore you with complaining about here.
Anyway I decided to look through my reject piles and see if there’s anything worth salvaging. This made me smile. A heartwarming imaginary meeting between a TRA and a frail old white lady, weaponizing her shopping bags for sympathy.
Please don’t share the stuff I post from my reject pile. This is for substack readers only. Maybe someday I’ll clean it up and publish it as an actual thing. Sometimes I wonder how it would be to collaborate with someone who’s a bit less clumsy with the wordy bits. I have a hard time with the text parts, which is probably why I started drawing in the first place.
If you click on the images they go full screen so you can read the text.
It deserves to have been brought out. Bravo!
Why didn’t I see this when you posted it? Argh. Probably my own preoccupation. I love this. Totally unprepared to like it so much. Maybe this embarrassment about not posting could be transformed into encouragement to do more! If it’s words that hamper you, what if you just did silent panels? Idk. Just a thought. 🐹
